Firm Information
Representing management in employment and labor law - exclusively
Our firm is considered a 'boutique' law firm in that we limit our practice to labor and employment law, representing only management.
At Krukowski & Costello, we understand how difficult it is to run a business. Every year, state and federal governments pass more complex employment and labor laws. However well intentioned these laws may be, they make it difficult for businesses to achieve maximum productivity from employees.
We work with employers to develop practical, creative and cost-effective methods to address disputes and litigation. In addition to offering seminars on topics such as sexual harassment, discrimination, OSHA, and wage & hour, firm attorneys also present in-house training to teach managers and supervisors how to resolve problems and prevent lawsuits.
Our clients come first
Clients are our focus. A client's needs, concerns and problems come first. We treat your legal matters as seriously as you do and provide the highest quality, most responsive service possible. We get results. Reflecting our firm's effectiveness, our clients are satisfied and become our best resource for new business.
We understand business
We understand how difficult it is to keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and to make confident employment decisions consistent with these requirements. Because of our extensive understanding of problems faced by management, we are prepared to handle employment matters at all levels, from discipline issues to developing the skills of frontline supervisors through training to arguing cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.
We approach problems creatively and confidently
We work with our clients to develop creative cost-effective ways to resolve problems and prevent lawsuits; yet, when issues must be met head-on, our experienced litigators and negotiators are ready to meet the challenge.
We emphasize education and prevention
We believe knowledge is the key to successful business management and work to educate our clients by conducting seminars on relevant employment and labor law issues. We also publish the following widely used resources: the Employment Law Manual for Wisconsin Employers and the FMLA Manual for Wisconsin Employers.
Our pricing is competitive
We offer our clients lower rates than many comparable firms.
